My life was ordinary.  School, family, church, and a lot of trust that God was good.

At sixteen, I received a clear warning I wasn’t prepared for.

The message was from my future child, speaking to me spirit to spirit. He told me he would have a condition in life, and that I needed to be ready.

Without fully understanding how to prepare myself I tucked the information away.  I lived life by simple acts of faith.

Measure of Faith

Obedient to the Word

I was living a blessed life, even with its ups and downs. A military pilot husband. Five children. A happy home filled with love. When you believe in God’s favor, life  feels secure.

Until it isn’t.

Years of strain had began to test us, but nothing compared to the day my life narrowed to one focus: keeping Jeff alive. This was what the warning from Jeff’s spirit had prepared me for all those years ago.

I believed, with everything in me, if I followed God with exactness and held my faith to the end, my son would be saved.

In the end, my greatest act of faith was not asking for a miracle.  It was placing everything; every hope, every promise, back into God’s hands. I had to let go and trust God.

Faith to the End

Willing to Sacrifice

Jeff and I had made a deal. I would hold my faith to the very end, believing God could heal him. And if he died, Jeff promised he would come back and tell me where my faith had gone wrong.

The very evening Jeff died, his spirit came back “Mom Wake up…  there’s so much to share.”

I jumped up from my bed. I could feel him. I could hear him.

I knew him. This was my Jeff.

My first response was instinctive, “you sound old.”

He laughed. “You’re feeling my age in wisdom. Cool, right?”

What followed were days of learning through spirit-to-spirit communication. Conversations. Confirmations. A deep knowing everything was right. God, in His tender mercy, left me in no doubt that Jeff was exactly where he belonged. Then, in His grace, God poured out miracles.

A letter from Jeffrey Hasara, June 11, 2010

Family and Friends,

Why are we on this earth? To be tried and tested so we may come to know God and we may be found worthy to return to live with him someday. Our faith is tried so it may be strengthened. God allows us to be tested that we may more fully come to know him.

Don’t worry or be afraid for me. Pray I might know God. I don’t believe anything could test my physical, mental, or spiritual endurance more than the experience I am facing now. But now is not the time to worry about the outcome of whether I live or die. Now is the time to praise God, to petition to see his face and know him better.

I have been tried and tested and stand firm in my faith, willing to submit to all things. What would you give to see God and know for sure you will live again through him. After you have given all, would you be afraid or forget to ask to know God? It is time for me to ask that I might receive.

Whatever God grants will strengthen my faith and help me to stand firm in his Gospel for the rest of my life. More importantly, I know I have a mission to fulfill as a special witness to Jesus Christ to bring others home to our Heavenly Father.

God lives and loves us,

Jeff Hasara

Faith to Work Miracles

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

I had been given miracles. I knew Jeff was alive and whole beyond this life  And yet I was still here in an imperfect world.

When Jesus heals the blind beggar and says, go live your life.  The miracle opens his eyes to his pitiful state.  What happens next?

Christ invites us to walk with Him. It is our responsibility to take hold of Christ’s invitation.

It is in concert with Christ I was able to heal and learn to create all through the power of Joy.

Transformative Faith

Creation of a New You

One Mother’s Day, Jeff came to me spirit-to-spirit.

“Design a garden in Heaven,” he said, “and I’ll plant it for you. Visit me there, and we’ll tend it together.”

I prayed. I studied. I created and in my mind’s eye, the garden took shape. Then one day, while meditating upon my garden, I became aware of the presence of Jesus Christ.

I was taught by Him the patterns of connection, healing, and creation.  I learned to walked with Him daily and to align my will with His will.

I came to understand His power is true joy.

Faith in Jesus Christ

Living in union with His power
